The pocket is full of bones. There's a bird skeleton hangin from his shoulder plate which has glowing green eyes and a bone strapped to his left horn too. But I guess you can see the rest for yourself X3

The familiar probably needs a bit of explaining. It's a dismembered man's hand, which runs about and does Cryptos' will. It's being kept alive by magic so that, you know, it doesn't rot into a pile of mush X3 Story goes Cryptos came across a very sick man in the middle of a dark, cold night. The bloke was trapped with his hand in a bear trap, and Cryptos thought "hmmm, easy pickings, more bones for my collection". However, the man begged for his life and offered Cryptos his cape and golden chain in exchange. As I say, it was a bit of a chilly night so he agreed - as long as he could keep the hand. It was badly damaged anyway, so the man agreed and Cryptos set him free, slinging the cape up and fastening it with the chain, and he set off with the hand tagging along behind!

So, that's where the hand came from XD
